Note! Please be aware that the museum has dimmed lighting and contains flashing lights.
Visiting with children
Children are wonderful museum guests.
Tips for your visit with children:
Children can guide us to details, places, and connections we might otherwise overlook.
It can be a special experience for both adults and children when curiosity is allowed to take the lead.
Perhaps you can invent a game? For example: find your favorite melody, the most beautiful color, or the most ridiculous object in the museum. The music is yours – it’s waiting for you.
A visit to Carl Nielsen Museet does not require prior knowledge of Carl Nielsen or classical music. There is plenty of inspiration for both enthusiasts and newcomers, and the museum’s light and soundscapes will lead you through beautiful experiences for eyes and ears. You may even discover something new about yourself.
The museum can be especially exciting for children because of its dim lighting, which may take a moment to adjust to. It is spread over two floors, and unfortunately, strollers cannot be brought inside. They can be parked at the entrance. Hosts are ready to assist you upon arrival.
